In its brief history Issue Project Room has earned a place as one of the most important performance/art spaces in NYC, primarily for its consistent presentation of new and artistically challenging material.Its unique location - a two-story silo in a post-industrial margin of Brooklyn's Gowanus Canal- and its encouraging curatorial attitude have created a congenial atmosphere for musicians, writers, artists and audiences.
