One of the city's newest skating destinations, the Polar Rink at the American Museum of Natural History features a rink of synthetic ice surrounded by helpful tips of "being green," all surrounding a 17 foot, steel-frame polar bear. The rink has commanding views of the Rose Center For Earth And Space and the Theodore Roosevelt Park.
