Editorial Review
New York's original Tibetan restaurant, conveniently located near the New York Office of Tibet (the governmental administration of the exiled Dalai Lama), continues after many years to turn out the beloved specialities of the high Himalaya, from momo (steamed or fried dumplings), thukpa (noodle soup) and a host of other fine dishes. The decor has been updated and features hand-painted traditional Tibetan motifs, done by a former monk. In keeping with New York's current trendy theme of pan-Asian offerings, you'll find a number of dishes that reflect the chef's wide range of abilities. All in a convivial atmosphere with very fair prices.
