Very Disillusioned!
By LESLIEP
bottom line... wait is over 1hr30min long. You will wait STANDING this outrageous time in a narrow hallway along with many other people squished together to be seated. When you are seated the tables and chairs are all bunched together so there is no elbow room. There are no strollers or car seats allowed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is tacky and looks like a flea market. The customer service is the worst I've seen, the prices are too expensive for the food, and a min per person to sit is $8.50!

Not worth the wait....
By melk1180
I was recently in NY and decided to give Serendipity a try. It is one of those places you hear about that was great but I believe that was back in the day. Upon arriving I was told an hour and a half wait and this was at midnight. We were finally seated upstairs where the table was dirty and the roof above us was peeling off. It was all in all rather dirty. We saw the size of the desserts and had heard about the amazing hot chocolate so the three of us opted for hot chocolate all around as it was now 1:30 a.m. and the air conditioning was freezing. The waiter came and we tried to order b...

Don't ever bother!
By jbmortenson
Well, after having a great day at Dillon's Candy Bar, FAOs, and a play, we made the mistake of going to Serendipity3. The staff is rude and the food was nothing to write home about, but to top it all off, our waiter claimed that we only put $60. in the bill folder instead of the actual $80. Worst restaurant experience to date for me ever and I'm 45 years old!

We got to Serendipity 3 at 11:00. The restaurant didn't open until 11:30 which was fine, there were maybe 6 other parties in front of us and another 50 or so behind us. The maitre d kept coming out of the door and counting people, he did this 5 to 10 times during our wait, fianally he started asking people if they had reservations. Maybe 5 parties had reservations, he said he would be back in two minutes, that was at 11:29. He resufaced again at 11:40 calling the first party in. He didn't come back for another 5 minutes and this went on for 15-20 minutes. When the women in back of us ask...
