Klong Thai

One of the more innovative Thai restaurants to open of late, Klong Thai features both a full bar of fascinating and exotic drinks as well as innovative Thai dishes not usually found in the older Thai restaurants of Manhattan. Slightly below street level in a rather charming St. Marks Place location, Klong's lunch specials are a great value. The variety of salads and noodle dishes are impressive, and the rotating specials are particularly delicious. Definitely try the exotic cocktails. Best of all is the creative decor, with interesting touches as well as the large Buddha near the entrance.
