Banned by Stalin (who gets to say that?) this Soviet era farce about Semyon, a man in a tough spot, with a nagging wife and few options. Intent on ending it all, Semyon is visited by a cast of characters intent on convincing him to present his suicide as martyrdom for their sundry causes. An hilarious and outrages take on the hypocrisy of Soviet life.
