Built on the site of the old Prince Street post office (and currently residing around the corner on Greene Street while the latest iteration of the store is being renovated), the Apple Store SoHo was seen as one of the biggest and most innovative of all—until the Fifth Avenue flagship store opened in May 2006. Nevertheless, the selection here remains consistently wonderful, and the tribe of Mac gurus at the Genius Bar continues to please die-hard Mac fans in New York. In addition, the SoHo store is a very stylish place to be seen buying your iPod.
