The Gilroy

1561 2nd Ave

Spigolo owner and chef Joseph D'Angelo brings the Negroni-centric Gilroy to the Upper East Side, with a menu of contemporary American fare that runs the gamut from mac and cheese with Irish cheddar and asiago and slow-roasted chicken pot pie to a pressed steak sandwich on ciabatta bread with wild mushrooms, glazed onions, and Vermont cheese and a local fluke with salsify and olive oil.
