The Waverly Gallery, tells the story of Glady’s a longtime lefty activist and owner of a small gallery in Greenwich Village. Generous, chatty and feisty, Gladys is engaged in a losing battle against the horrors of Alzheimer’s disease. Lonergan provides a poignant and at times hilarious look into her fight for independence, and the toll the disease takes on her family, particularly her grandson.
