In Surely Goodness and Mercy rising playwright Chisa Hutchginson tells the story of a bible-toting boy with a photographic memory who befriends a cantankerous old lunch lady in his under-funded Newaerk school. Against the odds a friendship blossoms as Tino and Bernadette help each other through the mess of growing up and growing old.
