moreAntoinette Chinonye Nwandu's acclaimed play makes its Broadway premiere. PASS OVER draws inspiration from both “Waiting for Godot” and the Exodus story. Set on a city street corner, Moses and Kitch stand around – talking smack, passing the time, and hoping that maybe today will be different. As they dream of their promised land, a stranger wanders into their space and disrupts their plans.
This extraordinary play by Antoinette Chinonye Nwandu and directed by Danya Taymor was originally staged in 2018 and enjoyed a sold-out extended run. Now it reopens the August Wilson Theatre with the entire original cast and creative team.
