Mean Girls, Tina Fey's ferocious take on high school hierarchies, has been translated into a musical and is ready to reign over the Great White Way. With music by Jeff Richmond, lyrics by Nell Benjamin and the book by Tina Fey. Casey Nicholaw directs. Cady Heron grew up in Africa with her zoologist parents. When their careers take them back stateside, Cady encounters the cattiest animal of them all: High School Girls. How will she navigate the pride? Will she succumb to the queen bee or take the crown for herself? How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady devises a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung. MEAN GIRLS is recommended for ages 12 and older. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.
