Tzu Chi USA is commemorating 10 years of progress and relief since the 2010 Earthquake with a new photo exhibit at the Tzu Chi Center in NYC About this Event Join us for a limited-time photo exhibition featuring 100 photographs showing Tzu Chi’s global reach of healing communities throughout Haiti’s disaster-stricken cities and the places in between. Our areas of work have included health and wellness, alleviating hunger, strengthening communities, and disaster relief, like that of the deadliest earthquake on record for the country that struck back in 2010. On the 10-year anniversary of this catastrophe, the exhibit’s debut will serve as a time to take stock of the love received during times of such strife. Throughout the last decade, Tzu Chi has served more than 15,000 Haitian patients with much needed medical services and benefitted nearly 196,000 with relief distributions. To ensure healthy communities and alleviate malnutrition, Tzu Chi has provided 900 tons of rice annually across four major distribution missions per year. Additionally, in joining hands with local communities, the team has helped to rebuild local schools, as well as oversee construction of a new one in... more

About this Event
Join us for a limited-time photo exhibition featuring 100 photographs showing Tzu Chi’s global reach of healing communities throughout Haiti’s disaster-stricken cities and the places in between.

Additionally, in joining hands with local communities, the team has helped to rebuild local schools, as well as oversee construction of a new one in Solino, one of Port-au-Prince’s poorest neighborhoods.

Admission to the grand opening & exhibit itself is free and open to the public.

Starting Monday, January 13th from 11:00 AM -4 PM we will have hourly tours.

The exhibit ends on March 15, 2020.
