This roadside dhaba is extremely popular among taxi drivers, and you'll find a nourishing selection of dishes at great prices. It is an East Village insider secret, probably because the place is so small that if someone doesn't point it out to you, you'll never see it. What you usually do see is a steady stream of patrons going in and out because the vegetarian Indian menu served buffet style for take-out is good quality, delicious and cheap. For five bucks here and you are good to go.
