Editorial Review
After 18 years in business, Zoe closed in 2009.
Located in the copper-topped 19th century landmark SoHo building, Zoë has a facade of folding glass and wood doors. The contemporary interior features fourteen-foot terra cotta columns, original decorative ceramic and mosaic tiles, rich wood, and inlaid stone and marble detail. Diners may sit at the food bar that looks onto an exhibition kitchen with a wood burning oven and rotisserie. All of the surfaces and artistic details in Zoë were custom made by Stephen Loffredo's father Stefano, a craftsman from Tuscany, Italy.
Make sure to check out their award-winning wine list, which highlights exclusively American selections (over 250 wines including boutique and library selections and limited productions); and offers extensive selection of wines-by-the-glass. Over 35 single malt scotches, 11 single cask bourbons, plus extensive list of ports, cognacs, grappas, eau-de-vies, and microbrewery beers. Display freezer features over 15 iced and flavored vodkas.
