Amos Zereoue, former NFL player and Ivory Coast native, brings the French fusion of his motherland to Midtown with the namesake restaurant, Zereoue. The menu was designed around the nostalgic flavors of Zereoue's youth and his adult flair for modernizing the traditional—within limits. The experiment is largely successful, with the continental African fare bending pleasantly to the will of chef Sow Abraham's contemporary flares while retaining the characteristics—both in the cuisine
and the restaurants ambiance—of the French-inflected original articles.
