The worst service in NYC?

We went there last Tuesday night at 5.45 approx. We were told to wait as the kitchen was not yet open so we went for a short walk and returned ten minutes later. We were shown to a nice table upstairs. Our waitress took our drinks order and returned with it in a few minutes however our food order was a different matter. After 20 minutes we asked how long our food would be and we were told the burgers had to be "fired up" (whatever that means) and that they woudl be 7 - 10 minutes.
