Chef Bill Telepan acclaimed former chef of the 3-star Judson Grill serves the very best and freshest of seasonal foods impeccably prepared and paired with an interesting, hand- picked and reasonably priced selection of wines. There's also a lunch-only burger that's well-worth the trip uptown, with delicious, house-made pickles on top, serving alongside two onions from which burst forth a multitude of French fries, dubbed rightly or wrongly the "volcano." It's probably more accurate once you add ketchup.
Telepan is ideally located in for the pre- and post-theater Lincoln Center crowd. The restaurant features multiple fireplaces, a wine room, and intimate lighting.
