Afternoon Tea at Tavern On the Green

My friend and I had afternoon tea @ Tavern on the Green in the lounge, a room upstairs set up like a bar. The menu is fixed-price at $35 per person, and comes with an assortment of tea sandwiches, scones, cookies, tarts and in our case, chocolate-dipped strawberries. The flowering teas are great. What was interesting was that several people having lunch in the lounge were not aware of the afternoon tea option and would have liked to try it had they known. No reservations required.
