Editorial Review
Peep is the most glamorous of a group of downtown (plus one Williamsburg) Thai restaurants of the new millennium. With great flowers, fixtures, tables and cool wait staff, Peep is the place to dig in to your steaming coconut curries, noodles and iced drinks. Given all the tourists floating around the neighborhood, a fair number do bounce in, and therefore the menu has been somewhat tailored with a few adventurous and not orthodox Thai dishes. Yet with a great drinks menu and creative specials, there is always a vast selection to choose from. In addition to the funky decor, do ensure you have a look at the slightly freaky bathroom with one-way mirrors, quite a novelty to watch TV inside and to peep outside while you conduct your business therein.
