This place worth it
By marknielsen who lives in Upper West Side

I think i made the right choice. I was full and very satisfied. Had octopus, but must say, loved the soup which is cooked in front of you, your table. By jp10027 who lives in Greenwich Village

While the atmosphere is amazing, the theatrics of the staff get stale pretty quick. The food is a mishmash of styles, with a consistent emphasis on attempted style over substance. The sushi is of poor quality and minimal quantity, and often inexplicably covered up, as the Spring Snow Roll, which has large glops cream cheese over a small portion of eel for now apparent reason.

Obviously, the food is not supposed to be the main draw-- like Mars 2112 or Jekyll & Hyde, the "experience" is what's being sold, but it's way too expensive (it's difficult to escape for less than $100 ...
