Grandaisy is an artisan bakeshop where all products are made in small batches and with an emphasis on local ingredients. Their unique and distinctive product line flows with the seasons using fresh fruits and vegetables as they become available.
Located at 73 Sullivan St., the previous home to the Sullivan St. Bakery, Grandaisy continues to produce the same great products that earned Sullivan St. the ZAGAT guide’s highest ranking, as well as accolades from The New York Times, New York Magazine, and Time Out New York. Grandaisy offers sandwiches, desserts, rustic Italian breads at affordable prices. It’s a place where everyone can enjoy the luxury of fresh bread.
Their goal is to be a community bakery. New York historically has been a collection of close-knit neighborhoods and small, locally owned businesses, where residents from all walks of life come together and interact every day at their local butcher or vegetable market or bakery. Grandaisy believes in the importance of keeping with this kind of community experience.
Grandaisy also believes in supporting local organizations, and provide in-kind donations to a variety of including the Wooster Group, City Harvest, AMFAR, and Gilda’s Club.
