Editorial Review
Of all the Grand Sichuan branches, this one is hands-down most authentic Sichuan. From the decor to the menu featuring Chengdu and Chongqing specialties, you can close your eyes while eating and dream you are in Sichuan. The dizzying array of menu items never ceases to fascinate, and the staff is helpful in selecting dishes that nicely complement each other. So many of the dishes are so wonderful that you are certain to come back again and again. Early lunchtime crowds tend to fill up the place quickly, but coming a bit later you'll have plenty of opportunity to relax and take your time. The owner is a fascinating fellow; if you have a chance to meet him, he is a great source on popular restaurants and current trends in Sichuan.
