Expensive, mediocre food with bad service too...

The other review on this site by Miriam123 must be a fake. This place is terrible and expensive.
Came for Mother's Day with my wife, kid, and mother. The sturgeon was $46 for a lump of tasteless fish on a bed of tasteless vegetables. The beef stroganoff was $38 for a small bowl of nothing special noodles and beef you can get in a cafeteria. Service was inattentive, finally gave up on the second cup of coffee. Total bill was $240 for 4 with no alcohol. Left the place VERY unsatisfied.
BTW - the "special offer" listed on this site is the everyday price for the prix-fixe dinner.

Firebird is the best !

I went last Friday to Firebird with my friends just for drinks. We had such an awesome time. The atmosphere was excellent. Just enough people at the bar so we could actually talk without yelling and the bar tender was the best one I ever met. He told us all about vodkas and other drinks as well. I tried Firebird Kiss drink for the first time and I have to admit, it is a great one. My friend took platinum selection of caviar and vodka tasting. If you ever come to NYC, don't miss this opportunity. This place is very unique and beyond expectations. Will go back!
