Editorial Review
Zac Pelaccio brings his fatty restaurant concept to the 'Burg, but with a twist: Southeast Asian flavors meet marinated meat. Long-delayed and long-awaited, the restaurant has already earned a star from Sam Sifton at the Times. The barbecue stylings Pelaccio and crew have brought over from the Fatty Crab restaurants are a mixture of American and Asian sensibilities, with an admittedly sharp focus on pork, although that's far from the only fare on offer. There's hand-pulled lamb, smoked-crab laksa, beef brisket, and even duck rubbed in red curry.
