Elegant Noise

There is an odd mix of formal and casual here. At the door, it is all very formal, and elegant. The Chef seems to spend a lot of time greeting people, which is nice, but expalins a few of the misses from the kitchen. Once inside the noisy dining room, the ambience drops down a few levels to something more like a men's steakhouse. The raw bar offerings are excellent, especially when followed by the filet mignon. We enjoyed the food, but it was impossible to have an intimate conversation. We were also shocked to see the couple next to us put ketchup on their filet mignon. Really, they did this. ...
