Cheyenne Diner

New York

Editorial Review
In April 2008, the long-lived Cheyenne Diner closed on Ninth Avenue in Manhattan after nearly 70 years. Developer Mike O'Connell, of O'C Construction, indicated he would truck the diner and renovate it for its core constituency, the city's gypsy hacks and insomniacs. Next stop: Red Hook make that Alabama.
