great italian restaurant

Food was fabulous, atmosphere was great, prices were reasonable, and service was pretty good too! I will definitely go there again.

I'm 100% italian and know italian food. The food at carmine's is not good at all. It's the gravy. It's terrible!!

Great Italian outside of Little Italy

Carmines is good eating in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Food is served on platters that could easily hold a Thanksgiving turkey (and then some), so bring a friend or two and come hungry!
I highly recommend the Carmine salad and the chicken marsala. YUM!

Terrific Value. Great Food.

My husband and I ate here before seeing Phantom of the Opera. We did not have reservations and the wait really was not that long (about 15 mins) . The portions are huge and are served on platters to be shared with your party. My husband and I had the Chicken Marsala. It was excellent. An appetizer, entree and beverages (one glass of wine and 2 glass of Sam Adams) cost in the neighborhood of $50!!!! We were expecting to pay double that amount. They also validate parking. It is an amazing deal for its location. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
