Cafe Steinhof is a veteran in the park Slope food scene. They have been consistently good at keeping their price to value ratio at a great level. We love the atmosphere, the friendly wait staff, Music Wednesdays and Movie Sundays, and above all: their annual "Sound of Music" sing-a-long slash anniversary party with free beer and goulash ! which usually takes place end of September. On to the food: tomato soup is slightly spicy, very light and satiny, a winner. the charcuterie plate is huge (for 2 or 3) for an appetizer and has some well chosen meats and cheeses chicken paprika is...
