More than once I've jumped in for a quick Indian fix after a few post-work cocktails and found I was the only person in the place. I'll admit I was suspicious about trying an Indian restaurant with an Italian-sounding name. But my addiction to Indian cuisine over-powered my hesitation, and so I wandered in to this 1st Ave corner spot with an open mind. Been doing it for years now.
Ask them to make Chicken Tikka Masala Vindaloo (the menu only lists it as a lamb dish) and the very gracious staff will make it better than almost anyone else can. I've had better - but I'm hard-pressed to ...
