This dimly lit restaurant hearkens back to its owner's father, who would've been proud of the red brick masonry of the place and of the Southern Italian cuisine the restaurant pulls off so effectively. The manicotti is heavenly, the pasta bolognese is a heart-stopper, and the rest of the menu does just as well—even the brick-oven pizzas, which are every bit as tasty as their gourmet pedigree would suggest—but the true magic happens on Monday nights, when Anthony's has its "leftover night," where the Sunday night special is turned into some creative dish that often outdoes the original article.
