The ultimate in fashion-meets-food, Nicole Farhi's boutique in the Chelsea Market refers to its 202 café as something "from Notting Hill Gate to Chelsea". The menu is a nice mix of New American and bistro food, with panini, soups, salads and various desserts as well. Some of the tables are close enough to the clothing racks that you might just bring them over to the table to try on. A full English breakfast before looking at the glassware, or an afternoon tea after shopping for housewares? A steak with shoes? Chicken curry and blouses? The crossover possibilites are vast. Better finish your banana & nutella panini first, though.
