nice view of jail, a Chinatown staple
Pros: standard Thai, no surprises here
Cons: service indifferent and food can be spotty
We've been eating here forever, but that doesn't mean we love it. The kitchen is never consistent, regardless of whether the placeis packed or empty. The service is never friendly, but always efficient. It's a fun place to eat, and watching the prison buses pull into the central jail next door is fun evening entertainment. The standard Thai dishes are all here, never served with particular flair or attractive garnishes. Renovations have made the place look nicer, but honestly, you can do better elsewhere.
