even more Hudson River pier activity

The new ferry terminal on the pier opposite West 39th Street is set to open next week, operated by New York Waterway. And not to be overlooked, on September 10 at Pier 96 (opposite West 56th St.), the Downtown Boathouse opened its new Midtown boathouse. So much activity on this once-derelict west side is continually providing great additional recreational and alternative transportation opportunities.
