Even Cowgirls Get the Quesadillas

The Cowgirl Hall of Fame in the West Village, is the rootinest, tootenist, place to git yer vittles fixed this side of the Pecos. Jest mossey on through the picket fence on Hudson Street and you can belly up to the bar for a Sioux City Soda or sit yerself down and get your fill of mighty fine southwestern chow -- black bean quesadillas, fajitas, along with good old fashioned mac and cheese or cowgirl burgers.
The place is packed with cowgirl Amerciana and vintage kitch. And be sure you don't leave without trying their originral ice cream potato for dessert.
Now ya'll come back now, ya hear?

Though I had great fish tacos at nearby Miracle Grill on Sunday, I do like the burgers at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. It's a drinker's paradise!

As well it should be. What self respecting cow poke wouldn't expect a good whiskey in a dirty glass (ok, the glasses are clean, but we'll forgive them.)
My kids love this place 'cause it's so darn fun. -but the booths can be a little cramped for any group over four.

Yeah, I gotta get in practice. We're heading down to Houston in a couple of weeks, and I have to practice my "Hees" and "Haws."
