Send pastrami!
Pros: tasting meat before ordering, really good meat.
Cons: you have to try to get the attention of the meat carver they are always so busy.
I have seen this place in the food network. But i never thought of making it a place to go to, but boy yes! go! its has the atmosphere like a carnival, when you walk in you go through a turnstyle and recieve a ticket, you walk in to see high ceilings with old picture and the sign "send a salami to your boy in the army". They let you taste the meat before you choose a sandwich just to make sure its good, but you dont have to i assure you it is. Althought they have waited tables its place where you should serve yourself because you can see your meat being carved a your sandwich made, which isnt unusual but on a busy day you see 4 to 5 meat carvers in a row making stuffed sandwiches. Taste? great soft tender, pastrami. and oh pickles they have lots of pickles..
