hallmark of lower Manhattan
Pros: beautiful building
Cons: good luck getting in
City Hall is the quintessential gateway to lower Manhattan, the seat of municipal power, and the place from which governmental energy emanates. Both the building and the park are worth a visit (or at least a photo). And with the Brooklyn Bridge, Municipal Building, and major courthouses all a stone's throw away, you've got a nice walking tour in the immediate vicinity.
