practice, practice, practice
Pros: extraordinary
Cons: located at a busy intersection
Aside from the age-old question: "How to get to Carnegie Hall?" you would be wise to actually go and go often. The classical music performances are world-class, as is the venue. Pity that the Philharmonic did not relocate here, but the Lincoln Center mafia slyly prevented its demise by creating a phony uproar over Lincoln Center's future. Anyhow, do visit Carnegie Hall for its many fine musical offerings.
