two horses broke loose from a stagecoach near Greenwich Village this morning - I'm not making this up - this comes a day after a railway bridge burned in New Jersey and a retaining wall on the Henry Hudson Parkway came crashing down to the roadway. Of course, city officials claimed to have no idea that wall was in trouble...unlike anyone who ever drove by it, which even at 50 m.p.h. you could tell it was doomed.
