Her style of photography is documentative, captureing reality and
reportage, discovering 'Things that I think are really beautiful and
real'. Photography is her life's passion and she is trying to make a

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and The Powder Group are proud to support The Chelsea Art Museum's newest exhibition, Dangerous Beauty curated by Manom Slome, January 25–April 27, 2007. The exhibition will be composed of a selection of work in a variety of media (painting, sculpture, photography, installation and video) chosen to reflect a response to “dangerous beauty”, this area where the beauty myth collides with reality. The works selected examine the phenomena and implications of the current dictates of beauty and identity, contest the values and apparatus of the times and raise the question as to whether there is a place for the subjective and the individual in a society of mass expression.ANNOUNCES

Send in your digital photographs inspired by travel and the road trip for a chance to be included in an upcoming issue of TOKION magazine!
The Winners:
Seven outstanding photographs will be selected by our panel of professional photographer judges to be included in a limited edition set of postcards in TOKION magazine. An eighth winning photograph will be selected by an online vote on Tokion.com. All winners will also receive an editorial write up in a future issue of TOKION.
Rules and Regulations:
- All entries must be received by March 1, 2007.
- All entries submitted must be 72 dpi, 4x6 inches. Winning photographs will be requested at 300 dpi, 4x6 inches.
- All entries should be submitted to kingoftheroad@tokion.com
- Entries must include the photographer?s full name and contact information including address, phone number and email address, and a statement on the location of the photograph.
- Winning photographers must allow their images to be reproduced by TOKION/Scion in an upcoming issue of Tokion magazine.
