Mission...
Cheer New York is a volunteer cheerleading and dance squad by and for
the LGBTS community. Cheer New York provides an opportunity for LGBTS
cheerleaders, dancers and gymnasts to share their talent, training, and
experience with each other and the community.
Through performances, which combine cheerleading, dance and extreme
stunts, Cheer New York inspires hope, encouragement, spirit, strength,
support and understanding in audiences wherever we perform. For our
athletes, we provide a positive and mutually supportive environment,
where men and women of all ages, gay and straight, can challenge
themselves, and strive for personal excellence with a little help from
their friends.
