eh.
Pros: Nice waitstaff
Cons: Quite a few
Okay, the dim sum was good, but not worth paying $9 for. $6 or $7 maybe. Wasn't extremely impressed with the Peking duck or any of the desserts I tried (cheesecake, raspberry pudding, chocolate cake).
The decor is also predictable and tacky. Giant oriental curtains, an overabundance of cheap-looking chinese lanterns, and a koi pond (isn't koi japanese?).
Lastly, all my food came too quickly. There is such thing as service that is too fast and at Chinatown Brasserie you can barely start your appetizer before they shove in your entree.
