Booking hotels online is always a little dicey, but sometimes you get lucky. The Dream Hotel beautifully and comfortably blends old New York style and class with young, hip and now. The building has stood since 1918, but renovations were completed in 2004. The exterior has been immaculately restored while maintaining the original feel and look, accented by blue up-lighting on every window sill. Inside is clean and cool. The cozy lobby is built around a floor to ceiling, cylandrical fish tank. The front desk is staffed with courteous, beautiful ladies. The elevators are small, but modern and safe.
