My daughter and I are going to be moving to nyc soon and I need to know if there is a domestic violence shelter where we could get some help.

New York City and State have many resources available to help women who are victims of domestic violence. First off, there is the NYC Domestic Violence Hotline available toll-free at (800) 621-4673, available 24 hours. It can provide information on shelter, counseling, legal assistance, and benefits.
