What's the #1 quality of life issue for me? Sleep. We all deal with this problem. Whether it's the trash trucks at 3 a.m. or honeybunch snoring or the homeless breaking into our trash cans to get the deposit bottles, sleep is a big issue. So I was so happy when I looked out the window the other day and saw those women were gone. These three, obviously fresh out of college, moved in around July of last year. Sure, it was their first real apartment. Sure, they had a blast. At our expense and everyone else's. Parties five nights a week until 4 a.m. Screaming at the top of their lungs all the time. Screaming at each other. Screaming at the t.v. Yelling on the phone. Even though their living room window was a good 40 feet from our bedroom, I heard those screams day and night. Everything was a scream. Scream, scream, scream. These girls were hooked on estrogen, their hormones were raging nonstop. Oh, you say, they are all like that today. I wasn't like that. My friends weren't like that. And I went to talk to the super of that building yesterday after work. He said: "We called them the party girls!" And so did the three neighbors I saw on the street. Everyone is so happy they are gone. It's like a battle has been won without having to go to war.
