Trigo Rocks!!! Second time back yesterday and the place keeps getting better and better... I had the salsify tagitelle.. The server describe the dish as a veg. root that they shave and play off an alfreddo... Wow i felt much better eating a veggie and the taste was extrodinary. the crispy almond chips and shredded chees on top was so damn good. My girlfriend had the veal meatballs with smoked yogurt and bonito flakes.. The flakes on the top of the meatballs were moving around as if they were alive. She got worried and asked the server if they were still alive. He replied no there very thinned sliced fish flake that moves from the heat of the meatballs.. :)) The meatballs were the star of the night! So much depth in flavor and spelt medi. all over it.. We shared a tart blanc flatbread and order some mother milk beer. I love mothers milk beer. Cant find this one in too many places in ny! The flat bread was cooked out of a brick oven and perfectly crusted on the underside. Very tasting and the cheese was rich and smelly like i like it.. We didnt get a chance to try some other items that we would have liked due to running late for a show.. Next time for sure!
