Not recommended since new owner
Pros: The waiter smiled a lot, even when complaining about the food
Cons: terrible food, expensive, no creditcard payment possible, no beer
We went there on may 25th 2006 and ordered two 'Rijsttafel' menu for a total of $54,- . It was terrible. The food was cold and the taste was nowhere indonesian. The meat was very dry and the quantity was nog enough also. Absolutely not a proper indonedian rijsttafel as it should be.
We went there because the rating in a New York diner and restaurant guide had rated this place a 4 star rating, but that was before the new owner of the place. Now my best advise is really to stay away from this place. The prices are to high for the food you get served here. Quality and quantity!
The waiter was kind though....
