In an era where gyms are either fancy, bells and whistles, steam and sauna-equipped destinations costing more than $1000 per year OR dirt-cheap chains offering little more than cardio equipment, Body Quest is a welcome gem right in the middle. It has a bit of mom-and-pop vibe, where everyone who works there does, indeed, know your name - combined with everything a gym should offer at a price which won't break your bank account. A full assortment of free weights and machines, a great aerobics room with varied classes, and plentiful cardio equipment come together in a cheerful, non-fussy environment. Body Quest is a great value and the owners are always working on something, striving to improve the facilities. You'll find a full range of members, as well: young, old, in shape, out of shape - they all come together here. I've trained at a lot of gyms over the years, throughout NY, NJ and California - and Body Quest is the best.
