Pros: Excellent Service - I LOVE the waitstaff! Amazing Atmosphere, Entertaining, great food presentation
Cons: A bit pricey, hard to find from the outside

Ninja was an EXPERIENCE! Something all New Yorkers (who can afford it) should try at least once.

We were there for at least 3 hours and to say it was like 'diner and a movie' would be an understatement...it was more like a mini-vacation away from the monotony (that sometimes is my life). One of the best parts...it WASNT FULL OF TOURISTS! This is NOT Jeckyl & Hyde, this is NOT times square...in fact, I had a little trouble even finding it to begin with.

It was a little too pricey (the 4 of us spent about $600 after drinks) So for someone like me with only a moderate income it's not a place I could go to more then a few times a year....

Much of the food wasn't the most amazing I've ever had....but I wasn't there for that....I liked the presentation and the escape. I liked the "snowing frog or white frog" from the dessert menu. We really enjoyed the presentation of the "meteorite pot" which was the soup that came with my course.

I can't even tell you how much we loved our waitress and all the staff. Our waitress really stayed with us through 3 hours of eating and drinking and 'ninja magic'

Who would enjoy Ninja:
1. Those with money.
2. Those who despite the fact that they have a bit of money aren't too elitist or boring.
3. Those who like the idea of sending an evening in a cave
4. Asians
5. The young at heart/open minded
6. New Yorkers ( at least for a few years)

Who would not:
1. Snobs
2. Clostrophobics
3. Anyone who can't afford to spend over $50 for dinner
4.Those who do NOT like the idea of spending an evening in a cave.
