from Yountville to Columbus Circle
Pros: exceptional in every aspect
Cons: very tough to get a reservation
It somehow seemed unlikely that Thomas Keller, whose phenomenal restaurant in rural Yountville CA would open his next blockbuster restaurant high in the sky above Columbus Circle. Yet the concept is stunning, and the food is spectacular. While a problem (read: fire) initially delayed the opening, everything we've read and heard suggests it is extraordinary. The most difficult hurdle to overcome is actually scoring a reservation.

Suggests? You're reviewing a place you haven't even dined in?
